A Chinese wood and caned reclined armchair, early 20th century, the caned rolling headrest above a long slopping caned back with carved arms on turned supports, with a pull- out caned foot rest, raised on turned legs joined by turned stretchers, the chair (104 cm long, 67 cm wide, 73 cm high), the foot rest (52 cm long). Provenance: Purchased by the present owner from Liberty, London in the 1930's
