A south East Asian Kendi, 17th/ 18th century, of globular shape, raising up to a tall neck with a flaring mouth, the spout of round shape fitted with silver, the body painted in colourful enamel with lotus scrolls on a blue ground, the shoulder decorated with panels and a band of floral patterns, the neck decorated with patterns of grass blade, the mouth painted with three flowers. 21.2 cm high
