An iron plate with inlaid silver etching, 19th/ 20th century, the heavy plate standing on three feet, etched in the centre a medallion of a ferocious full-faced dragon, entwining a central 'Flaming Pearl' amid a scatter of vaporous clouds and leaping above turbulent rolling waves, the border decorated in five panels of different plants, all against a background of hui patterns, the feet with taotie masks, four character Qianlong mark to the base. 23.5 cm diameter
