A large Chinese ivory Guanyin, 20th century, standing bare-footed on a lotus throne, her face with serene expression,her eyes downcast, her hair elaborately coiled, wearing long flowing robes open at the chest to reveal a beaded necklace, the whole on a hexagonal section with a low-relief Buddha on each facets, surmounting a base decorated with floral scrolls. 27 cm high
