A Chinese bi disc, of orange-brown stone, carved to the upper surface with five mythical beasts including a chi dragon, a tortoise and others issuing from a tumult of cresting waves surrounding a small central hole; the reverse entirely finished with a pattern of dimpled surface carving. Slight remnants of ochre pigment remain on the upper surface and rim. Diameter 14 cm.
