A very fine George IV period mahogany and rosewood brass-inlaid four door cabinet the doors by George Bullock, English, circa 1825 and later 19th century 128 cm high, 240 cm wide, 48 cm deep. Provenance: The four door panels were remodelled in the 'Deepdene' residence of Thomas Hope taken from internal doors, which were part of the remodelling of the Deepdene by the German-Italian architect Alexander Roos in 1836-41 for Thomas Hope's Son Henry Hope.
