A lavender-blue glazed vase (Fanghu), Guangxu mark of archaic bronze form, the pear-shaped body of rectangular section rising from a short straight foot, set on the shoulders with a pair of lug handles and moulded with a peach-shaped panel to either side, covered overall in the pale blue glaze, the base inscribed with a six-character mark in underglaze-blue 29.
