A 'Famille-rose' bowl and cover, Sealmarks of Qianlng with deep rounded sides flaring to the lipped rim, finely painted with a fruiting and flowering gourd vine entwined around a spray of bamboo and with a hovering butterfly above, the stems extending over the rim onto the interior, the four large fruit and two butterflies picked out in pink, yellow and green enamels, the matching shallow domed cover with raised circular knop doubling as a foot when inverted, similarly painted on the exterior and interior with butterflies, fruiting vine and bamboo, the base of the bowl and the interior of the knop each inscribed with a six-character seal mark in underglaze-blue (2) 11 cm.
