A French black and red marble mantel clock and Tazze garniture, the dial marked Maux, Bezieres, circa 1870, the movement unmarked, bell striking, the two-part enamelled Arabic numeral dial with exposed brocot escapement, the black and mottled red marble case with a drum-head raised on volutes flanking a glazed panel showing the mercury pendulum, on a moulded plinth base, the pair of tazze conforming.
