A Royal Worcester covered vase painted by William A. Hawkins, date mark for 1900, body shape 2090, registration number 350192Baluster shape with a finialed cover, a pair of large dragon handles to the shoulder and gryphons around the foot, the green-glazed body painted to one side with a spray of flowers and fruit, signed, within a fine foliate gilt cartouche, the neck, handles, and foot pale turquoise with gilt highlights, printed factory marks underside. Height 45 cm.
