A Royal Worcester painted vase, date mark for 1897, body shape 1920, registration number 288905, the flared mouth and neck above the square-shouldered tapering body on a circular foot, a pair of handles to the shoulder, raised and gilt decoration to the neck, shoulder, and foot, the blush ivory body painted with thistles and other flowers, printed factory marks underside. Height 21 cm.
