A Contintental porcelain ewer painted by A. Kittel, mid/late 19th century, German or Austrian, of classical shape with a shaped pouring mouth and integral loop handle on a spreading foot, cobalt-glazed with gilt decoration throughout, the body with a reserve to one side painted with a classical female figure and a putto in a landscape, signed (the foot a replacement in metal). Height 23 cm.
