A Royal Worcester painted ewer, date mark for 1895, body shape 1309, registration number 111573 of squat baluster shape with a shaped pouring mouth and an elaborate scrolling foliate handle, blush ivory overall, raised and gilt foliate details to the shoulder, handle, and foot, the body with raised painted and gilt foliage and painted butterflies, apparently unsigned, printed factory marks underside. Height 26.5 cm.
