A Continental finely-figured mahogany secretaire cabinet, third quarter 19th century, the upper section with an arched cornice with carved crest above a pair of glazed doors enclosing shelves, the projecting lower section with a panelled fall-front enclosing a well-fitted interior with drawers and a small cabinet above a pull-out writing surface, below a pair of panelled cabinet doors enclosing original stationery pigeon holes, on small carved feet with later castors.
