A Royal Worcester covered vase, date mark for 1890, body shape 1169, registration number 54795, the widened mouth and long pierced neck above the globular body with a pair of loop handles to the shoulder mounted with fantastic figures, the finialed cover also pierced, ivory all over with gilt details throughout, the body painted to opposing sides with foliage with lilac-coloured flowers, printed factory marks underside. Height 37.5 cm.
