An outstanding Museum quality Kutani vase, with exotic finely painted panels depicting noblemen feasting in a lakeside setting, the reverse panel a street scene with women in a procession by a park of cherry blossom. Exquisite all over gilding with floral decoration to neck which is surmounted with two crouching lion handles, beautifully painted butterflies to both neck and base of vase, 24 cm high
