An impressive ivory-glazed figure of Damo (Bodhidharama), seated wearing a long robe draped over his left shoulder, leaving his chest bare, and falling in draped folds over the rockwork base, his long skirt tied at the waist with a bowed sash, his head with well defined features lowered with downcast gaze, his curly brows, and beard finely incised, his right hand holding a fan centred with a seated figure of Amitabha Buddha.
