A 'blance-de-chine' Dehua figure of eve, 17th / 18th century, standing on a rockwork base, scantily clad with drapery around her waist held by both hands at the front, and trailing to the ground, her hair swept up from her forehead and dressed in a coil around a high chignon, her face with smiling expression. Height 23 cm. Provenance: Compare with another figure of eve, illustrated by P.J. Donnelly, Blanc de Chine, the porcelain of Tehua in Fukien
