A good French Louis XVI style giltwood framed mirror of oblong shape, scalloped at the corners and with an arching top, the deep ogee and beaded edged frame embellished with finely carved and gilded foliate scrolls at each corner surmounted by an acanthus framed shell pediment from which floral swags drape over the mirror, a trophy group of musical instruments completes the frame at the base, the old heavy glass detailed with a broad bevelled edge conforming to the frame.
