A rare Charles II silver Porringer, the bulbous body beautifully embossed with floral and leaf forms and punched outlines, the open plain neck with mild hammered finish, the finely punched monogram within a scrolling cartouche, the cast scrolling handles of stylised figural form, the clear hallmarks for London 1663 and maker’s mark ‘So’ unrecorded but identified in Jackson’s Silver & Gold Marks 2009, Page 13 cm.
