Silver Melbourne Annual Regatta cup, of chalice form leading to a central swag with inscription: 'Melbourne Annual Regatta/ 24 March/ 1877/ Leader Challenge cup/ Junior Eights/ won by/ G.E. Norman/ 4', the verso engraved with the victorious club in laurel wreath and an oarsman, inscribed 'Barwon club'. Marks: Sterling / Silver. Weight: 180 grams. Height 16 cm.
