Australian silver presentation cup by Edwards, retailed by Kilpatrick & Co, the deep bowl with acanthus capped rim, gilt washed bowl and fern capped base, leading to a naturalistic modelled stem with heavily embossed lobed foot with emus and kangaroos. Marks: K & Co/ sterling silver (emu) We (kangaroo) ref Jbh no 122 & 110. Combined weight: 185 grams. Height 20.5 cm. Provenance: Vizard Foundation. 2001 Geelong Exhibition no 16.
