Superb four piece silver tea & coffee service by William Edwards, each modelled in classic baluster form, with scrolled handles and spouts, each with embossed grotesque mask heads, the bodies with raised decoration emblematic of Agriculture, the reverse with an impressive vacant cartouche flanked by twin kangaroos and emus amid cornucopia of tropical fruit, all resting on four scrolled feet with lion heads monopodia, the creamer and sugar bowls with gilt interiors.
