Marks: F.G/ St Silver and to the foot F. Grady. Combined weight: 119 grams. Height 7.5 cm. Provenance: Vizard Foundation. 2001 Geelong Exhibition no 25. Notes: Born in Birmingham in 1840, Frank Grady migrated first to Australia before settling in Wellington New Zealand around 1880. His business carried on until about 1922 with two Sons involved. An advertisement gives the start date of 1880 for his business and at some point he was appointed to the Governor.
