A French provincial figured cherry armoire, late 18th/early 19th century, the moulded cornice and panelled frieze above a pair of doors, each with three well-figured panels divided by finely-moulded scrolls, flanked by fluted corners, the sides panelled, with a shaped apron and feet, the frieze and apron relief-carved with flowers in a basket, with decoratively shaped and pierced brass escutcheons and exposed hinge knuckles.
