A French Louis XVI-style brass-inlaid mahogany Bonheur-du-jour, late 19th/early 20th century, rectangular, the top with a high super-structure with a stepped marble tray top above drawers and a glazed cabinet, the fold-out leather-lined writing surface above a frieze drawer, on fluted tapering legs, decorated brass stringing and mouldings throughout. Height 131 cm. Width 70 cm. Depth 45 cm.
