An early Victorian mahogany side or sofa table, by Druce & Co., London, circa 1840-1850, the finely-figured rectangular top with a moulded edge above a pair of frieze drawers, raised on bulbous turned and lotus-carved end standards, each with a pair of out-swept scrolling feet, joined by a turned stretcher, on castors, the original maker's paper label to the bottom of one drawer. Height 77 cm. Width 122 cm. Depth 60 cm.
