An Edwardian sterling silver beaker. G. Payne & Sons, Birmingham, 1911/2. Tapering cylindrical, with a roundel in relief to one side depicting the city of Oxford and with that city's arms and motto 'Fortis Est Veritas', otherwise plain with a reeded foot, the interior hammered, the base stamped 'Payne/Oxford'. Height 7 cm. Weight 116gr
