Bell striking, the two-part enamelled Arabic numeral dial with exposed brocot escapement, the black and red marble case with a drum-head raised on volutes flanking a glazed panel showing the mercury pendulum, on a moulded plinth base, the case mounted with projecting brass columns, the pair of tazze conforming.
