With brass full ring meridian and time scales at the poles, an analemma graph and world population statistics printed in the Pacific region along with the maker’s details in a cartouche: Thomas Malby & Son, London, for the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge and dated Jan.1st. 1860. Constructed of coated printed paper gores over plaster base, with later varnish, some old surface faults and blemishes to the orb and paper horizon ring but principally legible, compass table requires attention.
