Maschke, German Pickelhaube, 1916 pattern, modelled with a elongated spike, leading to a Prussian winged eagle and twin coloured cockades, one being red and white and the other being blue and white(the former denoting the national whilst the latter denotes the country of the soldier Prussia) terminating with a leather chin strap.
