A large Chinese slightly waisted transitional brush pot, 1628-1644, Chongzhen period.18.4 cm high, 18.8 cm diameter decorated with a scene from a drama, depicting a procession of figures across a landscape, an incised band above the foot and below the rim, flat unglazed base, fitted wood stand.
