A good Chinese Huang Huali wood tray table of oblong shape with a simple cavetto border, the centre inlaid in silver with an extensive landscape with figures and buildings, the corners overlaid with silver mounts heavily chased and engraved with sinuous dragons, two handles issue from either end, each decorated with cloud motifs, one with maker's mark L.H. For Luen Hing. An applied plaque to the tray with presentation inscription 'To Mr J. Stewart By the Hong Kong Football Association, An Appreciation, 1914-1951'. Raised on later beech table base.66 x 45 x 41.5 cm.
