A pair of Doulton Slater's patent baluster vases, the ovoid bodies with fine pale brown scale type ground with tubelined decoration of blossoms and leaves within a scrolling border, dominant tones, blue, brown and green with pink and white highlights. Impressed marks for Jane Rumbol and incised 'L.B.'. Height 29.6 cm, one with repair to foot.
