An early Victorian doctor’s travelling medicine box of plain small proportion, the mahogany box with deep double folding front doors with divisions supporting various bottles, the interior main body with five compartments containing seven bottles bearing various labels above two full width graduated drawers containing original set of brass beam balance scales and weights, the inlaid tablet to base engraved ‘Squire, Chemist To The Queen, 277 Oxford Street, London’, recessed brass military style handles and fittings.
