Ron Arad. Rover chair, limited edition for one off Ltd, UK 1981. Ron Arad's famous early Rover chairs, constructed from recycled Rover automobile seats and Kee Klamp scaffolding components. Examples in every major design Museum in the world including, the Museum of modern Art (MoMA). Provenance: originally purchased United Kingdom, circa 1982 and bought to New Zealand. Purchased by the English's from this collector in Christchurch in 1996. Note: Purchaser of the first lot has option to buy the second at the same price and thus keep them together as a pair if desired
