A Louis-Philippe ormolu and bronze figural mantel clock, mid-19th century, the silk suspension works unmarked, bell striking, the engine-turned steel Roman numeral dial with illegibly rubbed signature, the case with a figure of a Renaissance nobleman with his lute seated on a green-patinated bronze rockwork base, all set on a neo-classical casket-form plinth, the ormolu matt finished with bright highlights.
