Pair of Finger Bowls, Irish, c. 1880, straight sides, flat-cut with scalloped rim, height 8 cm. together with a Jelly Glass, panel cut all over, with stylised vesica motif and arch and angle cut rim; thick foot with oval-cut rim. Foot chipped, height 10 cm. c. f. . Illustrated in English and Irish Glass 1690-1840. The Rex Ebbott Collection, plate 27, no 264 Provenance: Rex Ebbott Estate, Melbourne 1991. together with a Pair of Salts, Irish, c. 1820, of Piggin form with squat ear, cut finger flutes and scalloped rim, 'S' on the base, height 5 cm. Provenance: Howard Phillips, London 1984. and a Patchstand Irish, c. 1770 saucer-shaped tray with scalloped rim and stylised vesica motif; on faceted stem and small foot, height 5.5 cm, note rim is chipped.
