Locomotive builders plate, 'Australian Standard Garratt Locomotive/ G-11 /Commonwealth Land Transport Board ', 48 x 33 cm. (locomotive was built at the Islington Railway Workshops in South Australia to the design of the Commonwealth Land Transport board as a wartime measure during World War II. G-11 entered service with Queensland Railways in December 1943, they were not a success in Queensland and G-11 was sold to the Tasmanian Railways in June, 1949)
