1937 Geelong Premiership medal, solid gold and blue enamel medal with monogram 'VFL' in centre, surrounded by text 'Victorian Football League/ Premiers', engraved on reverse, 'Geelong F.C. N.L.Glenister/1937'. Excellent condition. Very attractive and rare. (Norm Glenister, 1934-40 and 1945-46, 124 games, 262 goals. (b.c1916, 178 cm, 78kgs). Geelong West half forward fl anker who also played as a rover and centreman. He was always a solid contributor and was clever around goals. He was Geelong's top scorer in 1939 and 1946. Missed the 1937 fl ag win after being one of the best players in the semi. Kicked five goals in his one game for Victoria against South Australia in 1939).
