18th century London longcase clock, circa 1750s, silvered and gilt dial marked 'John Willats, London', 8 day five pillar movement with anchor escapement. Dial displays a 'Strike/Silent' selector, date aperture and subsidiary seconds dial with the original brass sheathed weights, pendulum and winders. Clock encased in a superior quality burr walnut with original finials, the finest example of it's type seen by the collector/vendor. Includes original winder and key. 240 x 48 x 24 cm
