A magnificent Chinese carved rosewood display cabinet with two glazed doors flanked by sinuous dragons with inlaid eyes, raised on a base with three drawers with shishi mask handles above a heavily carved frieze and raised on claw footed legs issuing from demon masks, the cabinet surmounted by a pediment ornately carved with a conforming dragon, above a cornice carved with scrolling cloud motifs, the cabinet's glazed doors enclose asymmetrically layered shelves before a carved back board and a small cabinet with a door carved with a similarly contorted sinuous Imperial dragon. 146 x 60 x 220 cm
