Napoleone Martinuzzi, 'Bassorilievo' glass column, 1953-58, manufactured by Vetreria Gino Cenedese, Italy; seven convex scavo glass panels with boldly coloured figural motifs and metal mount. Height 218 cm. Width 20 cm. From 'La Lavorazione Del Vetro' series in scavo polychrome glass, bas-relief decoration made in hotwork, the tiles are similar to a series of columns in situ at the Cenedese Glassworks showroom, Murano, Italy, the lot is accompanied by a letter of authentication from Ars Cenedese Murano S.R.L.
