A Chinese square inlaid bronze seal box and cover, 17th century, late Ming/early Qing. Decorated in silver with a qilin on the cover and floral motifs on the sides, white jade liner 6.9 cm long, 4.2 cm high. Provenance: An old Queensland private collection; ex Leon Blumenthal collection circa 1980, (ex British Colonial service)
