A Chinese blue and white dish, 1488-1505, Early Ming Dynasty, Hongzhi. Painted in the centre with two deer, gnarled pine, rocks and shrubs, a peony scrolls with eight flowers-heads on the interior and exterior cavetto, Jingdezhen kilns. 31.5 cm diameter.
