A large Chinese archaic grey pottery jar, 10th-9th century BCE, Western Zhou. Zhejiang or Jiangsu province. Decorated with impressed bands around the shoulder, the lower half with a paddle-beaten design. 50.3 cm diameter, 50 cm high.
