A Chinese carved ivory and hand painted fan late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912), the frame intricately carved with figures amongst hanging gardens and with finely pierced struts, the paper fan displays a village scene with a large procession of people each individually set with an ivory face and applied textile to their costume, complete in a fitted box, 52 cm wide (the fan).
