A French ormolu and alabaster cercle tournant, circa 1790, the openwork body with a bell mounted to the underside, rising to a circular enamelled Roman and Arabic numeral chapter ring, surmounted by a foliate pierced dome, raised on tapering supports united by foliate cast swags, the stepped circular alabaster base applied with leaf tip borders, leaf cast bun feet, 33 cm high
