A fine quality French gilt bronze and porcelain mantel clock, the dial signed Le Loutre, a Paris, the eight day count wheel chiming movement with silk suspension escapement and enamelled Roman numeral dial within a circular surround, applied with finely cast foliate mounts, the lower section inset with a figural porcelain tableaux depicting a woman with a lamb at her feet, her male companion and a figure of cupid at her side, rising to a finial cast in the form of a monkey, raised on a reeded rouge marble base, 57 cm high including the base
