A fine quality matched garniture of three Victorian sterling silver ewers maker's marks Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd, London circa 1900 and Martin, hall & Co, Sheffield circa 1895/1900, the three piece set comprising a large central ewer with two smaller vessels each of spherical form on a circular footed base rising to a slender neck with helmet shaped spout and high scrolled handle, decorated in high relief depicting winged mythical figures and panther heads within a reserve of repousse foliate scrolls on a stippled ground, hallmarks to spout, (repair to the handle of one of the smaller ewers), 4280grs. Total weight of silver, 47 cm/32.5 cm high
